Bumble is an international social networking and lifestyle brand based in Austin, Texas. From 2015 to 2017, East 72nd helped execute their social strategy, college ambassador program, content strategy, event marketing, guerrilla marketing and overall marketing strategy. Due to the truly lean, start-up nature of the company between 2015 and 2017, much of East 72nd's work for Bumble was accomplished on an extremely limited (often non-existent) budget.
Blog Series: Cultivating Positivity
Inherent to Bumble's identity and mission is the cultivation of kindness, empowerment of women, and emphasis on positivity. To share that message and connect with users - thereby solidifying brand messaging and increasing daily active use of the app - we worked to develop a weekly blog series that focused on brand-relevant themes. The series was composed of a fun, bright, on-brand graphic (seen above) and a short, inspirational blog post in the quintessential Bumble voice (linked to graphic). Initially shared on the Bumble Blog then cross-promoted via Facebook, Instagram, Insta Stories, Snapchat, Pinterest and Twitter, the mini-campaign drove DAU, engagement, brand recognition and brand affinity.
